Whether you're on business in Europe, or eating at your favorite restaurant down the street, you need quick and convenient access to your money. FAFCU has the remote services you need to keep you close to your money 24 hours a day, seven days a week... no matter where your adventures take you.
FAFCU's Checking Account lets you access your money and conduct transactions any time, from anywhere. You have 24-hour access to your account through ATM, Point of Sale, VISA network, and Fast Line, our 24-hour telephone audio response. You can also pay bills from your checking account with our new online bill payment service.
Deposits can also be made any time through direct deposit, payroll deduction, mail, or CO-OP and STAR System ATM machines.
With a FAFCU ATM card, you can enjoy convenient access to your credit union account through any ATM on the STAR®, PLUS®, and Co-Op Networks. You can use your ATM card to perform the following transactions:
- Withdraw cash
- Obtain account balance
- Transfer funds
An ATM card is simple and convenient to use. To access your FAFCU account, all you need is your ATM card and Personal Identification Number (PIN), which will be assigned to you and known only by you.
Our VISA Check Card is like a turbo-charged ATM card. You can use it to withdraw money from your favorite ATMs and make purchases anywhere VISA is accepted. Use it instead of a check to pay for purchases right from your checking account-at more than 12 million locations worldwide.
FAFCU's Fast Line bank-by-phone system helps you handle your finances quickly and conveniently. One simple phone call lets you perform a variety of transactions, including:
- Checking your share and loan balances
- Transfers of funds
- Check withdrawals
- Loan payments
- Inquiries about tax information
- Inquiries about cleared drafts (checks)
- And much more!
Fast Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is accessible to all FAFCU members. All of our services require a Personal Identification Number (PIN) known only to you, ensuring the security of your transactions. Only you have access to your PIN, and you can change it at any time. To further assure your security, check requests are forwarded only to your home.
Direct Deposit reduces the hassle of making deposits and loan payments by putting your paycheck straight into your bank account. If your place of employment offers this service, you may have a net-payroll check deposit, which automatically transmits your whole paycheck (less taxes and other deductions), or just a specified amount. The Direct Deposit program may also be used to automatically deposit Social Security and other benefits or pensions, recurring government checks, or retirement checks.
You can sign up for Direct Deposit by talking to your payroll processing specialist or employer, or by visiting the eWorkforce website, https://firstamerican.intersourcing.com. Just log in, select "Myself" then "Pay" then select "Direct Deposit Summary." You will be required to enter the transit routing number and your account number; these can be found on the bottom of your personal credit union checks. Please do not include the check number, which is also found on the bottom of the check.
